Penguins-Capitals Winners & Losers


For a good number of people, ‘The Game’ will start at 6:25 tonight.  But for me, and many other hockey fans, ‘The Game’ just ended in a tremendous come-from-behind effort by the Capitals to extend their win-streak to 14 games.  The Caps have a chance to make it 15 straight victories on Wednesday against the Canadiens, but first things first:

By the Numbers: Rangers vs Capitals


Washington looks to extend their winning streak to a dozen against the new look New York Rangers.  With familiar face Olli Jokinen back in the Eastern Conference with tough guy Brandon Prust, the Rangers added scoring and some grit.  Prust made an immidate impact for New York in his first game as he picked up 19 PIM.  Here’s hoping Erskine or Chimera can give him a warm welcoming in his first game on home ice with the Rangers.
