Although Eddie O. (Locker's position for NBC) got hung up and missed the game because of the weather, that does not excuse Mike Emrick from basically not calling the game-winning goal. Fans watching the game on TV were left in the dark as the Caps celebrated. I'm not the biggest fan of NBC's hockey broadcasts but I think Emrick did a heck of a job without a broadcast partner.
